I had no such problems...Had an aftermarket alarm...and just bought one from circuit city and did it myself...easy as pie!

please please please.. only say what you know certain! it's okay to suggest that it COULD be one way, but you state it as fact and it's definitely a fallacy.

the 7th generation does not have that stupid complication pertaining to the stock headunit and alarm crap, which was present in the previous generation of honda civic.

i went to my local dealer and they audio store 2 days ago and they said that there was a different wireing harness to relocate the factory hu. thats just what they said.
