Ok so i have an 01 ex 2dr and i just got an accelevision 5.6 monitor and i need to know what two of the wires are for. I got 4 and they are as follows
1.red-acc
2.yellow-battery
3.blue- remote out
4.black- ground

I know what the yellow and black ones do but im not sure on the red and blue ones. Any info would be greatly appreciated

the red wire is to be hooked on a wire wich only has 12+ when the car is on, and the blue is an remote 12+ when the monitor is on (to turn on other things)

They should correspond with wiress in your harness that have the same labels.

ACC - goes to any wire that has a 12volt current only when the car is on. So when your car is on, it sends the current through that turns on your monitor.
Yellow - goes to the battery for power.
Blue - goes out to something like an amplifier that you want to turn on and off with the monitor.
Black - goes to a nice, shiny, unpainted piece of bare metal. Preferably within 3 feet of the monitor.

so i dont necessarily have to hook up the blue wire. Correct??

But make sure the end is taped off and it's tied up there good with a zip tie or something.
