trunk floor??
Hey
so I'm driving around, and i take a turn pretty quickly, and because of my awesome stock body lean my sub's fasteners come loose and rip my floor apart. needless to say, I need a new floor in my trunk. anyone know where I could get one? I was thinking of going to home depot and giving them measurements of my trunk and having them cut me a 1/2" MDF floor.
any help would be awesome
thanks

while diskreets is what gave me the idea...i think mine looks a bit more clean. props to him though, i just had a few new ideas. if you're gunna do it, use his DIY...i did a few thing different. the amp rack for one goes all the way to the back of the trunk and is custom cut to go over the tire wells.
instead of carpetting each piece then putting them in the trunk...what i did was cut them out then put them in the trunk UNcarpeted. next, i got a bracket that allowed me to attach the back side of the middle part to each of the sides (heres my MSpaint rendition lol)
anyways, once you connect that...carpet the entire floor, don't worry about the hinge, just take a blade and slice the carpet so it it opens.

dude, 1/2" mdf is wayyyyyy too thick....go check it out youll see what i mean. i had a full bottle of deicer spill on my truck floor over my xmas break and my floor board crumpled. i replaced it with 1/4" mdf and i still think its too thick. sits flat but not totally flush. if you can find 1/8" mdf that would be the way to go.....i found some 1/8" stuff that was like a weaker version of a clipboard material but it didnt seem strong enough. i do not have a system so 1/4" mdf might do you just fine.
