The description for this amp says this about its Ohm load:
IMPEDANCE 2 DVC, 4 DVC
What the Heck does that mean? Of course it's one or the other! How am I supposed to read that? And lastly, I promise, considering I will be running this one twelve DVC off of a 2-ch amp, what would be the best way to wire it? Parallel?

Depends.. what amp are you looking at?.. you can get either sub.. depending on the amp.
If the amps 4 ohm mono stable, get a DVC2ohm sub..if it's a class D amp that's 2 ohm stable. get a DVC 4 ohm sub.
If the amp is 1phm mono stabe, get the DVC2ohm.
the DVC Means Dual Voice Coil.. or 2 Coils.
DVC 2 ohm. means it has "2" 2 ohm voice coils. Wire those Voice cols in series u get a 4phm load to the amp. Wire them in paralell get a 1 ohm load.

You know what's scary Mohawk? I understood every bit of what you said. My uncle has been installing systems professionally for some time now, and I've come up with wiring diagrams that make him go "hmm...wow...how did you figure that out?". It's cool as hell.
