semi - newbie needs help

Ok i wired to amps to one distrubution block, and one amp is getting power and one is not..... this is the setup

from battery 12v to distributor - then to each amp . its an RF distributor

the wire is 8gauge

the ground is fine

everything is plugged in.....but these are what might be causing the problem.....

from the dist. block is a fuse thats built into the wire sorta speak, then it plugs into the amp.

from the battery to the dist. block, there is a fuse built into the wire

remote wire is fine..... i just tapped the second amp into the original remote wire

im gonna take it into the shop.....but they charge a lot. so if you have any tips help me out here

and if your gonna ask for my setup i have ........ 2 12" CV HED Subs, 2 xplod 760w 2channel amps, 2 pioneer 220w max 6x9's, pioneer premier 6.5's, pioneer premiere tweets, and then in the back i have the stock 6x9
s repositioned to give even more sound =)......one amp power 2 12"s, one amp powers 2 6x9's . the old 6x9s and fronts and tweets run off the HU= pioneer deh-p6300

try switching the power wires. you know the two that go from each amp to the distribution block. this way you'll eliminate some of the causes. if the same wire still doesn't work then atleast you'll know that its not the distribution block itself.

try usin a volt tester while ur system is on and see if the batt connector is gettin power
if it is then try replacing the fuse on the amp
if that dont work then most likely its ur amp its fried

if the batt connector isnt gettin power
check the fuse on the distribution block
if thats not it try another power cable

and if none of that works im not sure what to tell you
its kinda hard to visulize what can be the problem sittin in my room and not having a volt meter and ur car in my drive way
