Head units with Main Input RCA's

Do all head units have RCA's as main inputs? I don't think mine does. I got a Pioneer DEH-7500. It only has Front, Rear Output, and Rear RCA's. I dont see any that would be main input. I'm asking b/c i have an audiocontrol three.1 and im trying to hook it up. i thought the front rca would act as the main inputs but i tried it and it doesnt work. So if there are no main rca inputs then i'll just have to connect the inputs through the speaker wires b/c that's the other option of connection.

hey i might have read your post to quick and the wife need attention so real quick if your talking about subs you could go to and electronics store and buy whats called a cross-over box. its a little black box that has the two rca outputs you plug into your amp and it has like four wires that you splice into your rear speakers. im not sure but i think the concept is that it filters out the highs and gives the rest to the amp. radioshack use to carry them and i think you can order them off line but im not sure, i used one back in high school, no problems good stuff. hope that helps

theres no reason why a three.1 would need to run BACK into your headunit.
are you using an external amplifier?

hold up, are you trying to run the three.1 eq to equalize your speakers that are running off of deck power?
if so, sir that's not possible.
maybe youre trying to do something as is done in pro audio with running an effects loop, but in car audio that doesn't apply.
i hate to burst your bubble, but the only way that the three.1 is going to work in your system is if you have an external aftermarket amplifier on your interior speakers.
