nothing like it.
its a flat cone and flat sub design. very strange looking woofer.
only 400 rms power handling so its not an spl sub

I'll have to look into those once I swap out my perfects. From what I saw on their website, they do have regular looking subs too. What do you think about the higher end models?? Worth buying, or what??
Sound quality is definately my main concern, but I would like something with a little thump, not too much, but enough to feel it in the back of my seat...

I purely dislike most spl subs, so yeah... that's why I'm in love with the IDMAX

definately sound deaden your door,

my kappa perfect components had tons of bass, enough where it shakes the doors like mad. its all in the install. plus if you still dont like it, any speaker in the door will still sound good because you took the extra step into installing deadening.
