oem hu thats sirius ready

I am lookin for sirius radio for my 01 ex. Was wonder if honda makes a stock headunit that is sirius ready. Also if anyone has pix of there sirius mounted I would be gratefull. Thanks guys

No, well at least currently not.

If you want to keep the stock deck, then buy one of those universal sirius radio's from best buys.

I'm pretty sure they don't make a deck that is Sirius-compatible out if the box. You have two options: You can either get the stand-alone dock unit that sits in front of the dash and connects through aux input or fm tuner, or you can buy a Sirius compatible deck and get the Sirius add on module that goes out of sight behind the dash. I did the second route; you control it all with the stereo and is a lot cleaner look IMO. The only downside is you can't take out and pop it in a boombox like the docked ones.

honda has a contract with XM but never made satelite radio on any civic for our years 01-05

so if you want sirius you got to go aftermarket or use a sirius controler that work off a FM channel
