if you fall under category A, then we're cool... in short, CC has always caught a bad rap because most of their installers suck... there ya go, you are now more educated...
however, if you fall under category B and are trying to start $hit with me because i said CC sucks, then you should just chill out... i said MOST installers suck...
i have a 29 inch vertical leap, which is slightly above the average for NCAA Division 1 basketball players... do i get offended when someone says white boys can't jump? no, i do not, because it is a very well-known (even if it is exaggerated) generalization... so be proud to be an exception to the rule...

I've got a buddy who works at CC and can name more specific minor details of cars than I've ever worked on during my short time at a custom shop. He can install an alarm faster with a more OEM look, he can put in a radio faster then I can, he has wire codes memorized.
about the only thing I can do faster is build a box. and if he had three weeks of building boxes at work for 8 hours a day, he would have me on that, too.
I took just as much flak as he did, and I didnt make commission.
no, theres nothing wrong with the installers at CC at all. they do the job they are paid for. If you got a junk install from them, then you paid them for a junk install.

nothing that you should apologize for. some dumbass in podunk iowa drops a wrench on a car battery, starting a fire doesn't mean YOU should be considered a bad installer.
I'll bet you are a better alarm installer now than I have ever been, ever.
You shouldn't have to apologize for someone else's prejudice. Not when it doesnt mean a sale for CC.

Actually, I got a funny story bout that. Dad told me go down to Sears and pick up a battery for your truck. (he was paying for it).Well So I did. The sears Tech didn't put the bolts on tight enough, so, it wouldn't start. They proceed to tell me its my starter. ( I say BS, I just replaced it.) So they Take a Hammer to it. I told them not to. but they did it anyway. I walked into their shop grabbed a wrench, and tightened it myself. after that it ran like a champ. till the starter died, and someone asked my why I took a hammer to it. Keep in mind this Is the SAME SEARS that Ron White went to.
