Battery Dead??????
Hey all, today my battery went dead for what seemed to be no apparent reason. After my stock battery went dead over a year ago, I bought a Die Hard battery and it has worked well for over a year without any problems until tonight. I went to run some errands, and my car started up fine all the times, but when I got back to my apartment and proceeded to leave again, it was dead. I got someone to jump it and I drove around for about 10 minutes to charge it and got back to my apartment and when I turned the car off and tried to start it again, it was dead. I currently have two amplifiers, an Alpine M350 and an Alpine 2ch, forget the power rating. Either way, i've been running these off this battery since I got it and I don't know if they play a factor in my battery being completely dead or not cause I never had the battery completely drained from these amplifiers and had to jump my car. Did my battery just get old or something, cause I doubt it is my alternator since my car still runs after I jump it. Thanks for the help.
I just burnt my tongue

replace the battery and if it runs fine than that was your problem...and yes if ur alternator was bad you car would shut off in the middle of running for no reason...well best of luck
Battery should have a warranty so take it back to where you bought it from and get it replaced or the prorated refund toward a new one.
I've had my Optima Yellow (yes an Optima battery) die on me for no apparent reason after 8 months of use. It never ran a audio system or anything else.
I brought it back to Pepboys and after testing proved it had bad cells, I received a brand new one for free + 1 year warranty starts over again.
