In dash cd changer questions

Will the 05 6 disk cd changer fit into an 03?
I found an 03 locally, but it lacks good looks...The 05' one looks a lot cleaner, but will it plug right in?
Will it work at all? - local dealer has no idea...
thanks!

If you're talking about the double-din unit, the answer is yes. It plugs right in and fits. I opted to buy the center console from an '05 SE as well, because it is smoother around the edges of the radio.

This is how it would look with the regular console

This is how it looks in my '02 with the '05 SE console

Ok..plugs right in...So theres no harness or anything required? Just unbolt stock...and hook up, and fit it in..easy as that?

I don't think it will. I bought the Metra Double-Din kit for my SE radio, but it didn't fit. So, I don't think that the SE console would fit any DD radio.

Has anyone added bass to the stock CD changer; the one on a 2005 EX SE? I am wondering whether or not the OEM changer has low level outputs available for a subwoofer amplifier?
