im seriously think that my steering wheel will fall off haha...4 13w7's is enough to kill almost any person if they're in the trunk with it...if they can fit inside rofl...those things are so huge, it'll fill my the entire trunk leaving space for maybe a 6 pack of coronas and thats its

i have 2 JBL gt series 1000 watt subs and my trunk latch broke, i had to get a new one from honda
7thGen's Loudest Civic...4,000 watts and climbing...

One of the main reasons for having two subs is the fact that you can run them in parallel and pull more power from the amp by dropping the ohms to 2 instead of 4, assuming you have single 4ohm voice coil speakers. Ive always ran 2 subs in parallel bridged across both channels of my sub amp. The amp has to be capable of running 1 to 1/2 ohm but thats what you pay good money for if you have a quality amp. Of course with dual voice coil speakers this is probably not so common of a practice but im really not sure as I havent had new speakers in 6 years, im still running two twelve inch thunder 4000?? maybe 5000 not sure.

in either way, i've switched from 3 10s to 1 12, and i am as happy as can be. you don't see too many SQ competitors with 2 subs running.
actually there is a difference between 2 subs and 1. If you are aiming for loudness then 2 is better because its more surface area moving and lower ohms which normally means to an amp pushing harder. If you are in the area of sound quality 2 10's are sometimes better because it gives you a better fuller note because you are distributing the watts over that area. If you are running 2 10's at say 400 watts it will hit clearer and crisper than 1 12 at 400 watts because the 12 would be excurding (spelling?) farther and therefor giving you that pounding feeling while you are only going for the bass of the song. not just a boom boom. Also smaller subs allow for better movement without as much power. So 2 small sometimes is better than 1 big.
