Nitehawk.. stop smoking crak.. For one 18" subs require more airspace than your trunk has.. 2 they don't sound good in cars.. 3. The overhang and soppiness of it will be downright retarded...But that's just what I think

Nitehawk,

With all the stuff you're doing with your system lately stop looking for "really good deals" Save up your $$$ and buy all Good equipment. It seems your really into Sound, Like em I was always looking for what was decent and inexpensive.. I learned pretty quick that good deals are often really cheap for a reason. Find out what it is you really want. Save for it.. Buy it.

Cheers

Mohawkboom is right bro, an 18" sub is way to big for your Civic. Besides a 500 Watt amp would probably leave that huge sub with too much play. Thats the trouble with a big sub like that, ou loose the tightness in the sub itself that gives it the nice deep bass. Too big bro. Go with 2 12", thats what I like.

When I live in Japan, I used to go to this placed called AutoBacs all the time. One time when I went in there, they had an 80cm (~32in) sub!!! That thing was huge. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was disappointed that they didn't have it hooked up to a nice amp though, so I couldn't hear how hard it would hit. I think they recommended it for a van. Those Japanese love fixing up big minivans and big conversion vans Just thought I would share that little story since we're on the topic of large subs...
