Ok so I juz got da 05 civic lx like 2 weeks ago..da only thing is dat wheneva I play cd's it starts makin a static noise... I kno its not da cd cuz I've used diff ones and diff programs...and I still have da stock radio. Does anyone kno why da hell it keeps makin da static noise?

maybe the speakers are blown? they are only paper. Either that or try a store bought cd to make sure its not the cd. My stock decked worked okay (sound was still suck) but no static. I'm guessing its still under warranty so if it does the static all the time, take it back to dealer for free fix.

na the speakers arent blown...i was tryna figure out what it was today --when i play the regular radio stations its fine, no static..when i play cds that ive made it gets the static sound. i played a bootleg cd in there too and that one actually worked fine

try taking it to the dealership. but if they cant duplicate the problem, your outa luck
