double DIN in dash. Possible?
I know that the factory opening in the dash of my 01 civic isn't quite double DIN. However, I have a Sony XAV-7W Media center and am wishing to install a Pioneer DEQ-7600 equalizer. I have found a place online claiming they have a dash kit that will enable double DIN mounting using the factory opening. It doesn't seem possible. Any thoughts? Has anybody done it. Will it require expensive dash modification? Thanks for the help.
I'm unusually bored.

that kit doesn't need to be modified to fit. I have one in my car and it works fine. I have my head unit on the bottom and a DVD player on top. the opening is a double din size.

I did a flip-flop DIY about 2 years ago on here. Looks like he took my words and added pictures, rewording a few parts. Regardless, it works, as I did that in my civic when I still had it.
