mounting amps back to back...bad?

i'm in the middle of redoing the amps in my trunk. i'm going to build a custom rack for the amps but for right now i need to do something with them. i have 1 mounted to the back of my sub box, so the only other place i can think of mounting my other amp is on the back of the rear seats. but this would mean they we be really close and back to back, would that cause any kind of noise or problems?

how far apart would they be then? i don't see it as being a problem, as i've seen where people mount two amps to the back of their seats, and then have them folded up, so it would still be in a confined space.

If you're worried about them, just fold a seat down when you're using them. and when you park, just fold it back up, not enough to lock, but enough to make it look like it is,

folding down the seats sounds like to much trouble. they'd probably be pretty close within a couple inches. i'm worried about it creating some kind of noise or heat trouble. i'm thinking maybe if i mount 1 on the sub box to one side and the other to the back seat on the other side.

as long as they are not touching, and there is a good amount of airspace behind your box, I cant see you having a problem... you wont get any interferance noise, just possible overheating... but I hightly doubt it...

As long as they're where the cooling fins aren't directly under the bottom of amp number 2, you'll be fine. The only thing that could do is cause heat to be radiated into one of the amps (the fins thing I mentioned). It'll be just fine though, seems like you have a plan.
