4th Battery in 4 Years? Help?

Well I do have a system, that consists of a JBL 1200.1, 2 audiobahn AW1200q's, and a Lightning Audio 1 farad cap. When I first got my car I had a tendency to play loud music with the car off, as well as play my PS2 at the same time. I wasn't surprised that my car wouldn't start after playing 1 song with bass or leaving my hazard lights on for about 5 mins.

So my remedy to this problem was to buy an Optima yellow top which was great, never had any struggling starts. That was up until 10-11 months later when spontaneously my car wouldn't start one day after going to the store for 5 mins. I went to Advanced Auto and they confirmed a dead battery.

Battery was still under it's first year Manufacturer's warranty so I bought a spare battery to use in the mean time until my replacement Optima came. That was July of Last Year.

So tonight I come out after a couple of hours of playing poker at a friends, and my car won't start again. The usual jumpstart gets it going again, but as soon as the car is turned off it won't turn on again. I pick up my spare battery from last year and the car starts right up.

Is there a reason that my last 2 optima's have both lasted me almost the exact amount of time (11 months)? There might very well be a short in my car somewhere, but that wouldn't necessarily cause my battery to go bad. I've been really light on this last Optima too. For someone who has subs in their car, I use them very lightly. I probably only pump them for about 5 mins every 2-3 days.

This is what I get for getting the first year of the new generation. Beware of the 8th gen next year, I bet it's gonna be screwed too.

P.S. The playstation has been unhooked for a couple of years now. I'm getting old and am too busy to be playing games in my car these days. The car will NEVER be off when i'm playing music. I dunno if this has anything to do with anything, but in the summer I occassionally take naps in my car for a couple of hours with the AC on?

LowSky is an unknown quantity at this point
one thing that i know is that a car battery cannot take too many complete drains and jump starts.

another thiing maybe your amps and inverter for the PS2 are drawing too much power that your altenator dosnt put out enough juice to power you car plus car the battery like it it supposed t do.

try disconnecting your cap. I've heard of them causing weird things in the charging system in isolated cases. What is odd is that your killing Optima batteries...usually it's next to impossible to kill one.
