Alright guys, I just recieved my Kenwood KVT 715DVD today. But I have a feeling that something is missing. The pictures below show what arrived in the box. But I think that I need another connection cable from the hide-away unit to the indash unit.

Can you all tell me if everything seems alright? I do not have a tv tuner with for the unit yet, so maybe i do not need a connecting cable.

That's what I am thinking is missing, unless the power harness is the same from my car already. But I dunno about the speaker wire harness.

yeah, no you need the ones that attach to the actual unit and the box, they should have been in it. Its useless without them

I'm gonna contact the guy who sold it to me. But is there any other way to get a set of those wires?

Might be able to get an audio shop to order them from Kenwood. Or do it yourself. Just check out Kenwood's support site.

I had to do the same thing on a used Pioneer HU that I got. Depending on what you need, they're pretty cheap.

Looks like you need the cables for the unit.... contact your local Kenwood dealer

It looks like i need the 8 pin and 16 pin wire harness. Does anyone disagree with this?

Here is a pic of the fat wire coming from the HU. I have no idea where it goes. It doesn't plug into the brain anywhere.....could it be for navigation, tv tuner, or cd changer?

I got a hold of the guy who sold me the unit. He claims to have found the harnesses and he is shipping them out today.

It looks like your missing 3 harness, 1. Power supply harness for the Screen. 2. Power suppply harness for the hide away box. and 3. The DIN cable that connects the screen to the Hide Away Box (brain).
