15" inch Kicker Square
15" inch Kicker Square
I have a 15" kicker square i still havent put in a box in my new ok civic ex. I want a custom box but the specs state that for proper flow it needs 1.3 ft clearance on each side to make it work the best. Any ideas? anyone build custom boxes im willing to pay for sumthin nice.

can't help you out with the custom box (i live a little too far away...), but if you wnat a good cheap box to have your car slammin in the mean time check this site out ...good choice of sub and good luck...
yeah I have seen those boxes before the thing is do you think thats really gonna give the 15" what it needs to pound. I dont see it as having enough clearance for air flow and all that
Call kicker they'll know more than anyone about there product. The specs say for my solox12" to be put in a 1.5 sealed and when I called them he told me that I should go as big as I could around 3.25 sealed and the difference in sound is like day and night.
if you have the manual to the sub, it gives tuning specs for "sealed, street bass, spl". which ever suits you best.
i would call up kicker as stated above. those ebay boxes are OK but not the best. if your just looking for a box so you can just have some bass, shoot for it. i bought my kicker box off ebay as well and it hits hard enough IMO. its the vented style one that goes for like $60 shipped. carpeted with terminals.
i regert buying it though cause now i dont know what a fully tuned sub and box sounds like lol.
