Install Progress (pics on website)
Looks Sweet! So clean. just as I thought, trophies off to the sides would look damn impressive. Here is a suggestion for you, big blacklight reactive PG on the wall with a black light hidden under rear deck. Mmmmmm.

hmmms
I have a decent sized PG sign that I had in my old install if you've seen the pics... I could refinish it and use that...
hmmms
so the question I have to ask myself is after all the super long days, stress, sleepless nights, was it worth it?
I hope so

I have that dilema with how im going to do my install, so i am putting the thickest lucite on top over the amp and cap as i can get easily (5mm i believe) so that should be enough since I have yet to use my trunk for anything but subs and backpacks. I can always make a cover for it too out of plywood or just a thin slice of MDF.

you can always flush mount your gear and then put **** on top or make a cover for it
or what I am considering doing is making a second piece the same size and shape of my amp rack and carpeting it so i have a spare to put in there when I want the amps out and still have a nice looking trunk

Looks aight, but I like the way J cut his board to go wall to wall... PS, did you just use the particle board as a template (ie did you cut a piece of MDF to make the actual piece you used for the "wall"?) Anything going on it, logo, lighting, anything?

the particle board was what I installed due to lightweight and lack of time to try anything better. It is almost a perfect fit except for where it contours out at the top, but it isn't very noticable. J definitely did a better job
I might put a PG logo in there and fix the lights.. I had 2 pairs of strobes but broke them both when I was installing the new ****
but I do have a nice purple neon light in there... so yeah
I just had it at my first show today, it was a BIG show (NCCA double points event), I didn't win anything, but I thought that it was very well received being a stock looking civic with no engine work... I thought people wouldn't really like it, but most people thought the system and the video were awesome

3m 77 Works fine, pretty much any spray adhesive. Spray a layer on the wood and one on the back of the carpet and let it ge3t tacky. Then spray another coat on each adn roll the carpet on the wood. Works like a charm.
