Steering wheel volume/audio control

Hi guys,

I know someone on this site already mentioned that it is possible to install a aftermarket volume/audio control on the stock steering wheel. I was just wondering if say, the audio control for a accord(or an RSX?), can be installed in our civics? I think the higher end accords have an audio control if I am not mistaken. Or other input will be appreciated.

will it work with the stock head unit? I am not so much concerned about attaching on the steering wheel itself. I am more concerned with whether it will work with the stock unit.

My brother said he was at kromer radio and there was a mod for I think a clarion deck so that he could still use his oem steering wheel remote and his ipod (he drives an 01 3.2CL Type S) but he said it was like $200

hope that somewhat helps, I know thats not 100% related but hey

darklegacy540 is on a distinguished road
If you could find controls, I know Peripheral (I think that's who makes it) makes an interface where you "program" the interface with the remote control (the head unit has to come with a remote)
