im looking forward to seal the inside of a sub box so it doesnt leak any air at all and sealed tight on all edges. the box is already made, but i just want to make sure theres no air leaks by applying some glue on the edges of each corner inside the sub box. i heard of elmers woodglue but how about "liquid nails adhesive" (specifically for paneling wood & foam molding)?

remember sub box is already made, just want to make sure for air leaks
another question: what size screws would u use for 3/4" MDF wood to mount a sub? would 10 x 1 1/4" be ok or should i do longer?

Rep Power: 305 I'm a fan of silicone caulk. Just make sure it is completely dry before you put the sub back in, the fumes as it dries can eat away some of the rubber compounds in the surround of certain subs.

Rep Power: 304 If I were wanting to "seal" a box,I'd have sealed it when assembling with a liquid nail type substance, ran a bead in the corners, then used either a spray dampener, or similarsubstance. ou could use rubberized undercoating, spray bedliner, etc.
