Running wire...
Okay so I am about to purchase a 2 chan amp to put in my car. Currently I run my wire under the sill plate and it's been fine so far, but I am wondering how much wire I can put under there before it gets "full". Right now on the driver side I have 1 stinger expert series RCA (thick as hell), remote turn on wire, and phone wire for amp lowpass control. Passenger side I think has only 4 awg power wire.
Question is: Do I have enough room under my sill plate to on the drivers side run a second stinger expert RCA and speaker wire, and on the passenger side run a speaker wire?
Secondary Question: Where do you guys run your wire as an alternative to under the sill plate?

as for speaker wires.. if u wanna u could pull the centre console. and back seats and runt he thinner wires right up the middle. as if they are layed flat u wont know from the back.
this is what i may do. just for the corntol and speaker wires. so id ont need to worry about the power wires interfieering.

i ran my rcas in the center to keep it away from the power cable. its pretty much from trunk, under rear seat, under rear floor mat, thru passenger left side seat, under passenger floor mat, etc.
not a flush and clean install for profession, but enough to just to the point.

not under the carpet?
my RCA is on the driver side sill plate, the power wire on the passgner, so they are nowhere near each other

i would've ran it under the carpet, but it was too much work IMO. im not showing my system since i dont have much, just did a simple install just enough so it plays fine and hooked up properly.
Mega, I have two sets of relatively thick RCAs running down the driver's side w/ a phone line bass **** wire and speaker wire and still, there is room. Also, you can run some wire under the metal plate and some over it - I can take a picture of what I mean tomorrow if you want, - I'm doing a Civic install.

that channel under the sill plate can hold alot of cable. My drive side has a 4 guage power cable, and two sets of speaker wire. Passenger side has a 6 channel rca cable, and two sets of speaker wire. Both sides have plenty of room left
If you are talking about the middle section that runs the length of the car, then then the front part pulls up with clips, you've just gotta be careful not to break the plastic where the clip goes in. Work at rather than just pull it as hard as you can. The very back of it where it meets the piece that comes down from the inner trim of the quarter panel, you have to take the quarter trim off first, or at least you have to pull the quarter section up from the sill and then pull the middle section out from UNDER the quarter section because the two piece lock together - the quarter section goes ontop of the middle sill section. If this is conusing- I can take a picture in a couple hours just let me know.
