Try this, wrap the wires in some wire loom and run them down the passenger side. Insulate them the best you can (gotta be careful of semantics around here, there are grammar ****'s hawking the ice forums, because we all know spelling effects performance right? I digress...) and run them. The passenger side has the least moving parts is why I suggest there. I'd run the power, and remote down the driver's side, and speaker wire down the center (so it gievs you an equal distance to driver and passenger side). You can run them any way you want, just keep the RCA's seperate from everything else. If that still doesn't help, you might want to check into the qualityof the wire and step up to a better quality/grade.
yes it does change as i go faster and even if i push the button to make the windows go up or turn the head lites on i also have this converter for the indiglo dials i got for my dash and theres another static buzzin noise also so theres 2 problems
I had this problem alot using lower quality amps. Radio shack makes a ground loop isolater that you install between the head unit and amplifier, I'd assume you'd need two to isolate your fronts and rears. Filters are under $20 each. Another factor may be the RCA wiring - cheaper wires don't have as much shielding and will conduct interference more.
The filters do affect your overall sound as I belive they work by eliminating frequencies from the sound spectrum that carry interference - but I didn't notice that much of a difference - audiophiles here will poo poo them.
The more expensive solution is to upgrade the amp....Alpine is VERY good at handling noise reduction.

Hey my amp cost 1200 dollars not that i paid that but its brand new why would it be crap???? and its soo custom that i dont feel like takin it all apart, only what i need to to fix the noise problem mmm so nothin can be done to the alternator or somewhere
Ya its all good, ya its the top model prety much, but it could be the problem, its jus pissin me off, we have tryed so many things even the guy that installed it cant figure it out!!! frak!! i wonder if there is a filter switch somwhere on the amp mmm, its just so hard to get at, cause of the way its in there but thx for ur input any other would be great thx
Rick don't be mean, you know I can figure it out... I just don't have the fracking time without getting crapped on.
The one thing that you didn't try is the rca's rounted on the outside of the car. I know you're waiting for some and I will attempt to run out on my lunch break and get some. BUT I will most likely have them for you on Monday when I don't have to deal with any **** from my bastard employers!.... Or you could always drive to Richmond for me..
