How would you wire this?
Here is my amp (a2x600hq):

Here are my 2 Subs (2 dual 2ohm VC IDMAX's):

How would you wire this setup to get most bang for the buck?

you can't get maximum performance out of that amp with the coil configuration on those subs... the 2 dual 2 ohm woofers will give you .5 (too low), 2 or 8 ohms. Ideally you want to get 2 dual 4 ohm woofers so you can wire the coils from each sub in parallel and then each sub in parallel to get a 1 ohm load.
If you are going to be using these in an SPL application, you could always install only one woofer and parallel the coils to get a 1 ohm load, then when/if you blow that sub you have a spare... Really as long as you have clean power in and out of the amp then it should be pretty hard to blow the speaker up. However I'm a self-proclaimed Audiobahn hater and I dunno if it would put out clean enough power to overpower it that much, but it would certainly be fun to try! (To clarify, I mean I think it would be fun for ME to try with YOUR gear

Ha, or I can re-read the page, call myself an idiot and then tell you that you can just parellel the coils on each woofer and hook each one to it's own channel
id try to find a 2 ohm stable mono amplifier that puts out about 1500 rms. id settle for 1200, but certainly wouldnt want something rated for more than 2000 watts at 2 ohms. that kind of range.
I currently feed my pair of maxes 1100 rms, take it like a champ. they could handle a bit more power no issues

so does everyone think I should ditch this amp? or should I use it? would I only be getting 600W/channel on it? there is no way to get 1200/channel w/o doing the .5 ohm thing which this amp might crap out on that. should I sell this and get the RF 1500.1 or whatever it is? hifonics brutus 1800? or keep this?
neither. the fact is, you've got a pair of rather high end subwoofers. audiobahn, rockford, hifonics brutus, doesnt really matter. the amplifier will be your bottleneck, and an audible one at that!
if you planned to run low end power like that, you should have invested in low end speakers. you could have saved some money, and you wouldnt have heard the difference anyways.
but you've got some fancy speakers. I recommend something a little nicer. I thin kyou will find your output with 1000 rms of mid level power will be just as impressive as 2000 watts of low end power.
unless you crank it to distortion anyways, in which case, go for whichever low end amp you want, rockford or brutus or earthquake, whatever you can find. they will all sound the same.

Ive got a hifonics amplifier built by zed audio over half a decade ago, called series XI. as far as I am told, its the last generation amp built by zed. class a/b 1100 rms at 4 ohms, 1200 rms at 2 ohms mono. I have a pair of dual 4 ohm maxes.
