How to wire sub?

How to wire sub?

I just got the sub that you guys recommended me (Rockford Fosgate P312D4) I running a Alpine MRD-M500 amp and i wnat to know how to wire the sub. Im looking at the instructions and have no clue.
Do i wire it (4 ohm DVC speaker = 2 ohm Lead) or
( 2 ohm DVC Speaker = 4 ohm Lead)?

Well, considering You have a DVC4, you don't have the choice of 2oh DVC speaker = 4 ohm lead. You do however have the option of 2ohm or 8ohm. So, I'd wire it with the coils in Parellel so the amp gets a 2ohm load. That way its 500w - perfect match for the woofer. Do a search and you'll find information on how to set the gains properly and you'll be rolling.
