Thanks for the help guys..... exzacc did you installed it yourself? If not how did you paid to get it installed? and one more question like AlpineCivic said does it vibrate or moves alot and how do you like it?
AlpineCivic will it still vibrate and move if I get it professionaly installed and is a 8inch to heavy?
If the flipdown monitor could'nt work I was thinking of getting a goose neck and mounting it between my rear seats like behind the cupholder in the floor do you that will work? or what would be better? Thank You again.

I dont know what kind of metal framing is under the headliner in a civic with a moon roof.
but most SUV's (all of the ones ive worked on, anyways) have metal framing between the moonroof and the headliner. even if its just a small bar.
you can screw a piece of quarter inch board to that bar using small metal screws, then replace the headliner and mount yoru flipdown to that metal.
I cant imagine a headliner able to handle the wear and tear from use of any flipdown, be it 6 inches or 16 inches in size. I suppose it has been done before, though.
when you pull your headliner, check for metal framing. if it were my own car, and I saw some frame, I would do it. If there was nothing between the glass and the headliner, id put the screens in the headrest or seek other alternate forms of TV
