2 kicker 10" L5's and 800w kenwood....
Hey to all the audio gurus,
i have a 800w kenwood kac 7201(hope its not *****)
and 2 s10L5's (4 ohm variety) in the mail on their way to "sunny" seattle
now, i dunno if yu have it figured out yet, but, i'm totally green at this stuff. but, so far i figure the parts will workl well togethor , for now,, until i get my feet a lil more wet in the car audio realm.
a lil info
subs: crutchfield says:"When the subwoofer is mounted in a sealed enclosure that has a volume from 0.66 cu/ft to 1.0 cu/ft, each coil can handle up to 225 watts RMS (450 watts peak). "
so, i'm on the verge of ordering a 1.0 cu/ft box, cuz , i havent time to make one....
the amp: crutchfield says:" » 150 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
» 230 watts x 2 at 2 ohms
» 460 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms
» stereo or bridged mono output
» 4-ohm stable in bridged mode
"
so, i am to assume that everythign should be just dandy? i guess i'm hoping soemone will let me know what to do about a box, and or wiring this set-up
like i said, i'm totally green, so, help me out with soem knowledge.
thx
