A recommendation for a good touch screen cd/dvd player for my car

I was thinking about purchasing a cd/dvd player for my car that also has touch screen. I am clueless about what to look for or what is a good brand! Can someone help me!

if you want it with touch, then go with pioneer avh-p6600dvd.

Alpine's IVA-300 is nice. As well as the kenwood kvt-911 and the new ddx 7015 (double din), then there's always the pioneer stuff, Avic N-1, 7500, 6600, and the new p8dvd... then the eclipse stuff is always nice, just depends on price range I guess.

Heres a pic of it in my car, didn't install it myself but it wouldent be any harder than a normal HU install. It's mated with a metra double din kit that has the middle cut out.

you know in bestbuy, they have the thing that attachs the remote to it and you can just drag it out with the wire... i want to install the similar thing in my car so i don't lose the remote when the passengers use it...

I say F()()K all those site they said. Go to ebay.com they are much cheaper and warrenty wise you in the same boat. Like i said before i have pioneer avh-p6600dvd and i love. I wouldnt go with those cheap *** kenwood or clarion. I seen to many of those broken. Matter of fact the store here dropped kenwood indash tvs because he said lot of them he sold came back. Most cases the motor that swing the screen up stopped working or gears where messed up. I am going to sell my pioneer soon and get the alpine model only reason i am doing this is just to try something new. I really want to get that vga model alpine has,but it goes on ebay for like $1500. So i guess i have to save up for that.

Ebay is a good place, if you trust everyone on there. Unfortunately, scammers do exist. As for the other sites, umm no, you're not in the same boat warranty wise. Sound Domain (the www.cardomain.com/shop) link I posted gives you warranty because they are an authorized online dealer, along with several of the other sites posted. Learn what you're talking about before you go blabbing off. Also, as for Pioneer being supreme. Depends on what features you are wanting. Say you want a double din unit? With pioneer you're S.O.L. True, I love pioneer's gear as much as anyone, but to say that the kenwood, clarion all other units are garbage is ignorant. Personally, I'd go with alpine or eclipse were I buying an all in one. Were I not looking for an all in one, I'd buy an Icon TV in dash, which is far superior in quality than any of the other manufacturers listed. As for the guy at the audio shop, I'd be willing to bet that kenwood dropped him is why he quit selling them. He's trying to move product, if he has to lie to do so, then I'd bet he does just that.

Also,, with the question for the touch screen working with a carputer, hmm, don't know, but I doubt it without severs work. You wanting to run a carputer? A good solution, that's also cheap for touch screen capabilities is the lilliput screens. You can purchase them, along with finding out more info at www.mp3car.com

LOL, Kicker thats why you go to a store that has lifetime warrenty's and become friends, so when you stuff stops working they give you a new one for free
