Rep Power: 0 okay, if you have taken yours out, you can just take out the cd play and leave the stock compartment under the deck there. by doing that you would have to use the stock screws that hold the stock cdplayer in since there would be no place to mount the basket.

Rep Power: 0 when u take it out the first time and look at the side of the stock cd player u can unscrew it and then screw your aftermarket cd player in, saving the bottom little compartment screwed to the metal frame onthe back of the console which can save you from buyin the mounting kit. Only negative thing is if you need to take you deck out, you have to pop the whole console out again.

Rep Power: 304 Yeah, umm, no you don't. One, without the dash kit, you're gonna have approximately 1/4 inch of gap all the way around the unit. That looks like crap. True, you can keep the stock pocket (with door) this way, but you can also do this and not have it look like crap by buying one of the dash kits from metra or american international, or scoche that let you keep the stock pocket as well. Then, you don't have to have that ugly gap. Also, you don't have to take the entire dash apart to get the radio out unless you iso mount it using screws. If you do not iso mount, and just slide it in the basket, you simply need radio keys. Please, know what the hell you are talking about before posting again.
