sound of qforms?

Hi everyone. Does anybody here have cdt's (specifically eurosports) in qforms in their civic that can tell me how they sound? I have the Eurosport 3 ways and was planning on putting the tweet and 4" midrange in qforms and the 6.5" midbass in the doors. I don't plan on competing, so if it sound pretty good, I'll go ahead and get some qforms. Thanks guys.

I think it will sound good...just sound deaden the door, and add some mass to the Q-forms (non hardening modeling clay, or mat...I used both )

i have the same setup but use mb quarts. do everything fonto said. i think it sounds decent. i did it cause i wanted the most speakers in my car as possible so it would be loud vs sound quality. im happy with it though

My soundstage is definently on the lower side though ...voices seems to come at about the HU level.

^i agree the stage is a bit low - about HU level is an accurate description. I have DLS MS5 in my qforms and they sound great. I'm sure the CDT's will sound great - deadening is a must so make sure you get your hands on some before install. The q-forms do a mmuch better job than a door installation and the sound is much more centered - whenever I get into my friends cars I can't stand it when I'm listening (passenger side) and the sound stage is pulling to the bottom right.

Try it. You could always bring the stage up later if you're unhappy.

I think I'll give it a shot. I have the upstage kit by CDT that will help with the stage height. I'd rather not use it though. I'll let yall know how it sounds.
