rear deck removal for 04 coupe

For step 1 in that diy, it says to remove the bar that holds down the front seat belts. I can't see the bar on my 04 coupe. Is it hidden away or can I just skip this step?

the bar ist there in my 04 either just remove the bolt at the bottom of the belt. im pretty sure that you remove it to remove the trim panel.
Edit: you might be able to leave it in check and see if is infront of or behind that split in the trim panels but more than likely you will have to remove it

I posted a link for a coupe diy in the sedan thread. It should be near the end. It should be the same if I recall correctly. Here's the link again though...
