alright so im thinking of making more of these or possible making a mold of it to reproduce a few.

im planning on making a new version that will allow the climate controls to be left untouched, also using a different/brighter screen.

the screens are around 200-300 depending on what you need, either touchscreen or no touch

most likely the screen will be included with the dash because only the model i choose to mold it from will be able to fit.
the screen will most likely be 7 inch. with vga and video inputs.

so would anyone be interested? and how much would you pay?

hmm.. i would be interested, but not in the immediate future... say, like, a couple months down the road... and i'd say give a price range you're looking at getting for 'em.. then see what people would offer... looks good tho

I think you would have more interest if you could find a screen that fits without relocation of the AC controls. You would be most likely glassing screens into trim for people that ordinarily could not do it themselves. As a general rule, many of these same people would not want to tackle relocating the controls as well . . . Just a thought.

He said he's planning on making a version that retains the climate control. That would cost about $200-$300 just in labor and body filler/fiberglass at a shop. So $500 if you were buying the console piece and screen, and then making it, is quite reasonable.

yea i found a screen that will allow the climate controls to stay in place.
i might just offer a service where you send your console and i'll send it back with the screen molded in.
i might try to get an extra console to have a surplus so that there will be no wait time for people who do send theirs in.
