Surround repair

One of my poor MB Quart QM160 TX3's surround is torn. Anyone have any experience with DIY repair kits for rubber surround speakers?

Cool thanks. I really don't feel like dishing out more dough for new rear fill.

tbaleno is an unknown quantity at this point
Try getting rid of the rear fill all together and tuning your system without them. You may like it better.

i dont know about you, but when the surround on my 12" woofers on my home theater speakers had large holes in them, I found a guy in my city who repaired them. For about $50 he replaced the entire surround of the speaker. They sound pretty nice, and it was fairly cheap. Might want to look into it.

I have tried taking out the fill before, I really don't like having no rear fill at all. I like a nice simple quality raw driver back there, with fairly little power, just faint enough to hear. I usually run my rear fill of the HU and use 2 channels for the fronts.
