Screen install...looking to clear up a few things.
I have read several different things about installing screens. The one thing that troubles me, is some people have the idea that the change in voltage apllied to a screen during crank can kill it. Some think so and some don't. Well, can it? What can i do to change that? Where is the best place to wire it. Is it ok to run it while in acc mode as appose to having the car running. I know the next question is a little off topic but, what about inverters. If it is hard wired can you run them in acc. and not kill the battery. As you can see electrical stuff is very far outside my knowledge base. But that is ok, that's what I have you guys for. Thanks for any info you may have.

No I have my screen on all the time when I turn my car on and nothing ever happens to it. Power should temporarily be cut to the screen when you turn your car on and will come back on a split second later. There are times when it happens so quick that the screen doesn't even turn off... you'll be fine. The change in voltage would be no higher or lower than is acceptable anyway.
Think about when you have your deck playing and you start your car. When you crank it quickly stops playing and then turns back on and then starts playing.
