Two Questions HELP!
Alright guys..i've posted one of these questions already but didn't get any feedback...I REALLY NEED HELP!! I don't know where else to go, nobody can seem to help...even Sony themselves. SOoOOOoOO, I've got a couple questions that maybe somebody can help me with...
First of all, well to make a long story short, my ps2 got jacked from my car and now my amp is getting no power. None of the 3 fuses are blown - the amp just doesn't get any power and everything is hooked up right..
could the amp just be blown? Its an 800 watt amp and was turned down like 3/4 of the way - had it for like 3-4 weeks and running only one 12 (800 Watt) off it!!
Next question is about my deck. Its the Sony CDX-M9905 with TFT screen. I have a NESA in-dash deck hooked up as well and want to display the graphics from the deck on the screen. Is this possible? The deck doesn't have an output, only one input, but is there a way to hook up an external input/output??
PLEASE HELP ME OUT IF YOU CAN!!!!!

You need to test the remote turn on lead. See if it is putting out any power when the deck is on. If not then get in the dash and check up there. Sometimes there is an inline fuse for the remote wire right off the deck. It will be very small and probably smaller than 1 amp.

It sounds like it's a Sony amp?? I have had more Sony amps die in my two stores than any other brand we carry. It's a thought...

Sony amps die off like old people. I had 2 that both died. Sony blows.
Check your remote wire with a voltmeter, and if that's not the problem check your power wire before where it goes into your fuse holder, where it comes out of your fuse holder and at your amp. Put the positive lead on the meter right on the amps power terminal and put the negative lead on the amps negative power terminal. If power is all good check your fuse in your amp.
I think he is saying that his NESA deck has no output. That would strike me as wierd because NESA does not make decks, only in dash DVD players, none with flip out screens so that means they HAVE TO have video outputs. I know your Sony has a video input becuase I already knew that plus I just looked it up. So plug the NESA output which you seem to think is an input into the input on your Sony and you are set.

I have the ps2 (or used to be4 it got jacked) hooked up to one input on the SCREEN. So this leaves one input on the screen left so I can plug in the SONY DECK INTO the screen...thus (theoretically) letting me view the graphics from the cd deck on the screen... BUUT, there is not OUTput on the deck, only one input. Basically I have one OUT from the ps2 hooked up to the screen and the INputs on the DECK are unused. Its like the SCREEN/PS2 are one item and the DECk is another. I want to include the deck in the display on the screen.
and as for my AMP
Its a Kenwood 800, not a crappy sony. The only reason I got sony (cuz i know they blow for car audio) is because of the sick a$$ displays it has and the TFT.
