Foam Baffles?
Foam Baffles?
Anybody know how to install foam baffles correctly in doors?
My speakers needs 2 spacers for it. I put the baffle in between the 2 spacers and, damn......The midbass cone is tighter than a sub sitting in a box....(Apply force on it, it's tight, then it comes back out very slowly)
If I put it against the metal, then put 2 spacers in, the midbass acts like free air.....(leaking air somewhere?)
Anyway, how you guys install the baffles? Should I give some space in the LOWER portion of the baffle for the speaker to create an air spring?
Buttomline: I have sealed up all holes on the inner door panels.

BTW, after I installed the baffles, I do NOT get any lower midbasses(say, below 80Hz) as contrast to without baffles and I raise the bass at around 60, the midbass distorts. Never happen before I install the baffles.
