best set-up

best set-up
OK before I get flammed I did do SOME searching through all the links provided in threads at the top.
Ok I just bought a 4 channel 300watt Pioneer amp and a Pioneer Premier 50w/4 head unit. I still have stock speakers and do not want a subwoofer.
Now im wondering what the best thing to do would be? I have an LX (six speakers) so can I run all six speakers off the amp? and if so would that improve sound in both quality and overall power? I realize I should buy aftermarket speakers but wanna keep these till thye blow, Or am I better getting new speakers and installing everything at once?
Sorry for all the noob questions, but I did search and learned alot just not exactly what i wanted to know. I'll keep learning tho.

Just buy new speakers and don't bother blowing the stock ones, that's pointless. Why wreck good speakers?
Buy a set of 6.5" components, I recommend Alpine Type-S, part # SPS-171A for ease of installation for the front. Each component set will run off of one amplifier channel. In other words, the tweeter and woofer in the front will be on the same channel as they are controlled by a crossover.
If you have a sedan, you can try another pair of Alpine's in back, or if you have a coupe you can try to find a pair of 6x9's that fit. I use Pioneer (not Premier) 3-ways and they fit fine.

Rep Power: 329 basic answers: yes you can run all 6 speakers off the amp. some people have and the results are noticable. but if you like it loud, they will likely clip and/or blow before terribly long.
install as you want. if you install the amp, love it, and never blow the stockers, why the hell bother with speaker replacement?

I had my stock speakers amped for quite a while. While it didn't sound too much better from stock, they were very bearable, didn't sound like *** at all, better than stock off the HU anyway. Go ahead and hook up the amp to yoru stockers, see how you like it. If you don't like, get speakers, if you can settle for now, don't. the wiring will already be there either way.
