Eclipse HU
Recently I had to reset my ECU in the civic, therefore also disconnecting power to the HU. Upon reconnecting the power my HU is telling me to insert the security disk. Well the thing is that when I installed the HU I never inserted a disc in the beginning, I just set it to the radio function and went about making sure that everything sounded fine. Now, how do I get my CD3402 to start working again without sending it to Eclipse for them to reset it?

Did u ever register your CD player with them ??
Well, either way, call them up and they can reset it for u over the phone. I had to do that once. Takes about 10 min

i think i heard about some older eclipse decks locking up for no reason, it might be the case for you. more than likely you will just have to send it back to eclipse and have them unlock it, no biggy.
you didnt buy it used did you?

If you didn't register it, they're just gonna think you stole it and not help you out. But maybe if you give them the upc or serial number... Good luck.
