Hey guys, i dunno what happened, but I think it got squished in my pocket with all my other keys. I chain the remote with my whole set of keys so they fit quite snug in my pockets. I took it out one day, and the LCD screen had black blotches on it, and it wouldn't display anything. I then went to the car to try to unlock it, and it wouldn't unlock either.

Am i gonna have to buy a new transponder? or does clifford cover this under warrantee?

If i had to buy, where do i buy it from?

I doubt that would be covered under any warrantee. As far as buying a new remote, I believe they are around $40-$50, and most car stereo shops should be able to get you one.

Double that price... $80 - $100 or more, considering it was the 3.5 and it has the carbon fiber looking casing.

You can try and send it off to them, worst case scenario you have to buy a new one.

Yeah, they run right around $99 (for me at least, I have the Viper 791, same remote basically)

Thankfully if that happens, my friend can hook me up with one since he owns the shop I got it installed at
