Question engine noise on subs

im getting engine noise on my subs. i have my amp under the passenger seat and its grounded to where the seat belt bolts to the chassis. (behind the plastic piece on the bottom where the slider thingy is for the seat belt) how can i fix this problem? any other grounding sites that would fix this?

werm is an unknown quantity at this point
I use a star washer also, but it's not necessary. Also you keep it under your seat? Isn't that kinda risky? Specially in winter.

Do you have your power wire and RCA cables running together? That would give you noise.

I ran power on passenger side myself, and signal on drivers side. then i grounded on the small, like 2 inch tall, metal support bar running between the seats and trunk on the bottom. Just drill a hole and ground away! No noise for me with that set up.
