head unit screws up keyless entry
My buddy has a 95 Civic and he had an aftermarket head unit installed. When he had this happen the people at best buy said he had to loose his keyless entry. They said something about the theft lock that was on the stock head unit was wired to the keyless entry some how?? I have a 04 and I want to install a DVD head unit but I dont wanna lose my keyless entry. Are these guys at Best Buy just morons? Did something go wrong on his install? Will this happen to me? Thanks for the input everyone

Best Buy people are morons, certain older civics DO have the keyless entry brain on the radio, but we usually do is stick the radio underneath, so you can keep everything and install an aftermarket radio. it's a pain, but it can happen, but 7th Generation Civics don't have that problem...
