Question help with wiring in new headunit

I am new to installing headunit's so I have a question I need help with. I have 03 civic and i printed off the vehicle wiring list off this web site and it lists LF,RF,LR,RR speakers, radio 12V, radio ground, radio switch, and radio illuminate. When i bought a wiring harness from crutchfield it has wires for 12V constant power, 12V switched power, chassis ground, illumination, dimmer, left front speaker, right front speaker, left rear speaker, and right rear speaker. Since the crutchfield harness labels it a little difference can someone tell me what matchs to what. I know the speakers are the same but like 12V constant, and 12V switched isn't labeled on the factory harness so what does it match to. On the factory one it says radio switch and radio 12V is that 12V constant and 12V switched, and what is the dimmer one on the new harness it doesn't say on the factory one. If anyone can help let me know.

dont worry about the factory harness.

the wiring harness you bought from crutchfield matches your aftermarket radio, match the colors, and itll work immediately

12V constant = Battery wire (I'm not 100% sure, but pretty sure on this)
12V switched = Ignition (I'm not 100% sure, but pretty sure on this)
Dimmer = Illumination or something like that.

Try those out. I think that should work for you.

Don't connect any wire to the red/black wire on the vehicle harness, you will fry the dimmer control in the dash.

The yellow/green wire is the power antenna wire, hook it up to the antenna wire of the deck, there will not be a wire on the harness, so you will have to hard wire it.

Thanks for the info but one more question. I was reading through the instructions for the headunit i got and it says to connect the illumination wire that is part of the headunit wiring to the dimmer control wiring on the car. But the crutchfield harness has a dimmer and illumination wire on it. So when i looked at the print out of the factory wiring it only has a illumination wire listed. So do i connect the illumination wire that is part of the new unit to the dimmer or illumination wire on the crutchfield harness.

Connect the orange wire from your stereo to the wire that connects to the RED wire of the car. Do not connect anything to the red/black wire.
