You can buy a convertor to convert speaker wire signal to low level amplifier signal if the amp doesnt have high level inputs.
But you still still have to run power and a turn on lead for the amp, and if you aren't experienced I'd say it's a job best left to the professionals.

how much do you think an installer should charge me to hook up and amp and subs to a stock HU ..... w/parts .... i need a guesstimate so i can see whats a good deal and whats not
good guys tried to charge me 100 for installing my front speakers, which i promptly told them to go f them selves with. 100 -150 including parts is what i would probably feel comfortable spending on a sub install. It's not all that hard to diy... as far as running the battery wire and getting into the HU. Do you have any friends who could help you out with the install?
half - it's likely that your fronts will require some modification to install, which might have been why you were quoted $100.
Math - when you have your stuff installed - keep in mind that the stock speakers don't have much power handling. You might want to invest in both an aftermarket deck and some decent replacement speakers...

wasn't sure of the type of amp nor how you intended to use it.
If the amp is strictly for your sub, you have a connection issue as there isn't an easy way with a stock deck that you can connect it. Some here may recommend splicing your rear speaker wires and using them as line inputs or converting them to high level RCA outputs. You're looking at a work around solution at best.
The best solution (minimally) is to get an aftermarket deck with 3 sets of preamp outs (one dedicated to sub), and even if you only use one for now, you can expand later. a cheaper 4 channel amp allows you to sufficently power your fronts and rears - it would connect to the other two sets of RCA outputs on the aftermarket deck.
