What's going on with Metra's double-din unit?

I haven't heard a thing about this kit since months ago when people reported seeing them on display at a convention. Can someone please clue me in on the progress, if any, of when Metra plans to mass produce these, if at all?

try searching, man, there have been three posts within the past like two weeks.

I just bought one, it works, but requires your radio to be used isomount.

works just fine

7865? I can't find anything with that product number online, not even on metra's site, where can I buy it? I've looked and really found nothing on a deffinate double din kit, and I searched a lot.
