just got a 5 inch silver face sport comp autometer w/ shiftlite(model 3911). my question is there are the regular 4 wires on the back, red, green, black, and white. then there are 2 little wires brown and blue. instructions for these little wires says :

4 CYL ( 2 pulse ) - cut blue

4 CYL ( 1 pulse ) - cut brown and blue


the pulse means pulse per rpm.

our cars are 2 pulse so cut blue only. just got off phone with autometer. for future reference if anybody needs it.
