engine noise from front right only

any ideas.....engine noise from the front right speakers only.

Maybe you should write to Dave Navone so that he can try and sell you some of his muting plugs

...but did you try going down the line though (testing between components)? I had a similiar problem and it was the right output of my active crossover.

LOL, elitecaraudio is the only other audio forum that i have ever posted on (I think). I like Dave Navone and think he has good information...but he is always trying to sell his ish when ever someone has a "noise problem", and the stuff he is selling is usually useless for most modern audio applications or you can make 'em yourself at home.

RC, is cool...although sometimes he states opinion as fact, and he does not dedicate as much time to thoroughly answering questions as he should since it is his "ask RC" forum.

CAF, is the epitome of bandwagonism (not all people though)...do a search of the Infinty perfect, then the Shiva/tempest bRAHMA, then DD, then BA, then ED...all were flavors of the month...and yes i do own subs from two of these brands...some are good, some are not all they are advertised to be...it is up to personal preference though.
