ok, heres what i got..........7" monitor, dvd, ps2 and radio, ok well this is where i get stuck.......7" screen where the stock headunit it, ps2 underseat or glovebox, trying to take hu apart to put the faceplate where the cig lighter is and actuall hu in glovebox or in pocket next to ebrake, then dvd player???????????? well ran out of room in car, maybe like in the side of the consol? like where your right foot would be?

help im running out of room......

im also trying to find a good place for for the cd player, so i can mold a screen in, but i cant move my face plate away from the deck. dam eclipse.

any ideas besides the glove box?

you could put the hu in the location of the pocket near the e-brake. (that goes for both of you)

to the original poster, you could put the hu there, the ps2 under the glovebox, and the dvd player in the glove box.

you could do the LCD as you said, the ps2 UNDER the glove box, but the ENTIRE HU, not just the face, where the cig. plug is. People have done it; it fits. Then put the DVD player next to your e-brake. Or, if you don't already have all this, you could get a DVD player that is a HU too, and that solves some problems.

nope, ive already got all of this stuff in my room, and ive tried i dont know what head unit they're putting where the cig lighter is because mine will not go into the slot, even if you cut the metal bracket away it still wouldn't be deep enough , im looking into cutting the metal bracket and the platic behind it i dunno yet

i would search around and find someone who's done that, and ask them about it. Or, you could fabricate some fiberglass and make a new piece that sticks out farther than the stock plastic piece, then mount the HU in that, if you understand what I said.

its really a pain in the ***, but I put my cd changer in my drivers side map pocket. its out of the way, and when i want to change a cartridge of CD's, i dont even have to stop the car, much less get out of the car!

little dvd player would fit in there wonderfully, as long as you dont get in and out of the car very much while playing movies.

what i did with my setup was put my cd player in the stock head unit location, I took the little pocket out and put my dvd player there, then I have my 7" screen mounted above my cup holders at an angle. If I had a ps2, i'd probably put it in the glovebox or under the seat.
