are all vented boxes the same?

are all vented boxes the same?
When u design a vented box lets say tuned to like 26 hz, do i have to modify anything beyond the hole that the sub will be mounted it, or is sub specific. So is a 26hz vented box generic essentially? 
nah, it's not, all subs have different requirements. try WinISD: http://www.linearteam.dk look up your sub in the list or input your owh T/S characteristics and it'll tell you all about it
