if you use your stock head unit, ur gonna need to get a low output converter or sumthin like that, just go to any audio store or circuit city or sumthin and ask them for a loc or high low converter and theyll know. u shud need a 2 channel one i think. those wires on the converter have to be spliced into the wires going from ur head unit to ur rear speakers, so u can put it in the trunk to make the whole install easier.

there shud be a diy somewhere, and just follow that. i wud post it rite now, but im at school and i can copy the link. hope this helps

You don't really have to have a hi/lo adapter if your amp has a high level input. Just splice in the the rear speaker under the deck and run the wires to the high level input. That is if you have one on your amp. If not then get the hi/lo adapter and splice it in the rear deck and mount it to the bottom of the rear deck. I have to tell you though you will be better off if you just got a new head unit. It would sound a whole lot better. One with a subwoofer out is even better. Hope this helps you out. If you need the wire colors to tap into then just let me know.
